Air Liquide will supply its range of ARCAL™ shielding gases and advanced cylinder technologies at the purpose-built training facility, the Australian Academy of Welding Technology (AAWT) under WESS. Through this collaboration, Air Liquide aims to support fabricators with gas solutions to fuel their growth.
Supporting Local Manufacturing Excellence
Through W.E.S.S., local fabricators gain access to Air Liquide’s ARCAL™ premium gases, a ready-to-use range of shielding gas mixtures designed to reduce spatter, lower rework rates, and improve weld quality across steel, stainless steel, and aluminium applications.
Advancing Skills and Cylinder Safety
By integrating Air Liquide’s gas supply into the Australian Academy of Welding Technology (AAWT), trainees, apprentices, and industry professionals using the facility will gain hands-on experience with modern shielding gas technologies during practical training and technical evaluations.
Furthermore, supply through W.E.S.S. will feature Air Liquide’s ergonomic cylinder top technologies, including the SMARTOP™, ALTOP™ and EXELTOP™ systems. Engineered with built-in pressure regulators and quick-connect handwheels, these integrated valve systems prioritize operator safety, simplify handling, and reduce jobsite downtime.
