Nitrogen Dioxide (High Purity Grade)

High-purity nitrogen dioxide

Air Liquide manufactures nitrogen dioxide as pure gas with purity up to 99% or as part of a specialty gas mixture that includes air or nitrogen. Nitrogen dioxide is used in many applications, primarily in environmental monitoring. Additionally, nitrogen dioxide in balances of air nitrogen at various concentrations are used as span gas calibration mixtures for engine emissions testing in the automotive industry and are Part 86 compliant. When a smaller quantity of gas is warranted, Air Liquide delivers nitrogen dioxide mixtures in non-returnable Mini-Mix cylinders, designed specifically for industrial hygiene and safety and laboratory applications.

Environmental

EPA protocol gases

Air Liquide offers nitrogen dioxide two-component gas mixtures as EPA protocols. These EPA protocol gas mixtures are instrumental in helping you avoid non-compliance fines and downtime caused by inaccurate instrument calibration measuring emissions. Air Liquide’s specialty gas manufacturing facilities are registered participants of EPA’s Protocol Gas Verification Program (PGVP). Protocol standards are dual-analyzed, and for each reactive component, two separate analyses are performed and analyzed directly against metrology institute standards to determine the concentrations. Certificates of Accuracy are provided with each cylinder.

CEM DAILY STANDARDSTM

Nitrogen dioxide gas mixtures manufactured as CEM DAILY STANDARDS are used in applications where the use of EPA protocol gases is not required. Zero blend tolerance is available as a result of our proprietary ACUBLEND™ technology. As a result, multiple cylinders exhibiting identical concentrations may be ordered, minimizing the need to recalibrate each time you change out a cylinder.
